Senior🎓
Top SchoolRay Carter is a Python backend engineer with 8 years of experience and an MSc in Data Analytics & AI, currently building production-grade systems for AI robotics and computer vision. He designs clean, maintainable architectures—shipping permission frameworks, OAuth2 flows, internal SDKs and custom frameworks based on Starlette/Ariadne—to standardize developer workflows and improve long-term reliability. Comfortable across FastAPI, Flask, Django, GraphQL and SQL ecosystems, he also bridges ML and MLOps by deploying models with Docker, TorchServe and MLflow and running reproducible PyTorch Lightning pipelines. Ray combines systems thinking with strong engineering discipline—authorship of a Python 3 Programming Specification and tools like ExcelAlchemy hint at a practical focus on developer productivity and onboarding. Based in Shenzhen, he pairs rigorous software craftsmanship with a background in CNNs, Transformers and diffusion models, and brings mentoring experience that improves team onboarding and code quality.
