Top SchoolRaymond Berg is the Managing Principal of Compass Capital Group, steering value-add multifamily and mobile home park syndications across Central Florida and Texas while opportunistically exploring western Missouri and northwest Arkansas. A retired, award-winning civil engineer with a 34-year career designing and delivering complex industrial projects, he leverages deep construction, project management, risk assessment, and negotiation expertise to execute operational turnarounds that create monthly cash flow and forced appreciation for investors. Since founding Compass in 2018 he has focused on acquiring underperforming assets and applying targeted operational and aesthetic improvements to boost profitability. Based in Centralia, Washington, he combines disciplined engineering rigor with entrepreneurial finance skills, and brings a family-oriented perspective—mentoring one child already in real estate while introducing others to investing.
