Senior🎓
Top SchoolRaymond Sun is a Principal Architect based in the San Francisco Bay Area with 12+ years of experience designing and operating large-scale, cloud-native systems. He has led multi-team re-platforming and platformization efforts at Salesforce—driving HyperForce/Falcon adoption for hundreds of services and winning a company-wide President’s Award for that work. A hands-on systems thinker, he combines first-principles decomposition with pragmatic PoC-driven solutions across infra-as-code, SRE automation, and Kubernetes platform productization. Raymond is polyglot in languages and tooling, strong in OOP and refactoring, and has repeatedly delivered faster, more reliable provisioning and operational tooling that reduced toil and improved resilience. He uniquely bridges deep infra automation (disposable immutable data centers, Vault-backed access, auto-scaling stateful clusters) with product-minded platform leadership that accelerates customer engineering onboarding.
