Summary
👤
SeniorReginaldo Junior is a seasoned full-stack Software Engineer from Paraíba, Brazil with over a decade of engineering experience and eight years in professional roles focused on Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript (notably React). He has shipped production systems at companies ranging from startups and consultancies to GitHub and Varsity Tutors, and currently builds products at Vanilla. Comfortable across the stack, he pairs backend expertise (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, Linux) with a pragmatist’s approach to systems composition and functional programming techniques. His background includes co-founding Bitmine, reflecting an entrepreneurial bent and hands-on ownership of product and architecture. A Computer Science graduate from Universidade Federal da Paraíba, he emphasizes true engineering discipline—designing composable systems that scale and remain maintainable. Quietly, he brings a taste for functional patterns to everyday engineering problems, improving reliability without sacrificing velocity.
