Top SchoolReid Spencer is a seasoned software leader, founder and CTO with over two decades of hands-on experience building high-performance, scalable systems and leading technical teams across startups and consultancies. He founded Ossum Inc. to automate software production and replace tedious textual coding with principled visual design, reflecting a rare focus on improving both runtime performance and developer productivity. Reid has repeatedly served as the technical lead—shaping architecture, clearing technical debt, and coaching teams—from early-stage ventures to enterprise engagements, including roles at Skytap, Doyenz, and Crossvale. He pairs deep systems engineering (compiler work, storage layers, and cloud automation) with product-minded delivery and client-facing solution architecture. A long-time open source enthusiast and lifelong learner, he now collaborates with his son to bring more joy and efficiency to software creation.
