Senior🎓
Top SchoolRemco De Boer is an experienced software architect and consultant with 12+ years designing information and reference architectures, primarily for public-sector organizations in the Netherlands. He co-founded and leads ArchiXL B.V., where he turned research on architectural knowledge into practical knowledge-management environments using semantic wikis to capture, link and reuse architectural decisions. A VU Amsterdam PhD on architectural knowledge management, he combines academic rigor with hands-on roles as lecturer, information architect for national initiatives (ROSA, DERA) and CTO at XL&Knowledge. Remco is active in professional communities (IFIP WG 2.10) and brings cross-domain experience from digital heritage to education and water management projects. He also engages in local politics, applying his systems-thinking to civic governance as a D66 council member. Colleagues value him for making architecture auditable and reusable—turning implicit expertise into structured knowledge that improves quality assessment and decision-making.
