Top SchoolRémi Kalbe is an AI-focused founding engineer with 11 years of experience building production-grade systems that blend ML, real-time multimedia, and cloud-native infrastructure. Based in San Francisco, he has led core engineering at startups and founded Dwoom, where he built a Rust/WebRTC videoconferencing SDK and custom Kubernetes operators for scalable stateful services. At Letter AI he shipped novel video-based learning and AI roleplay products that combine LLM-driven analysis, multimodal video composition, and avatar-led content across 21 languages, and at EXPERTIFY he delivered an AI OCR pipeline that cut medical document processing times by 80%. Comfortable across Rust, Python, TypeScript, Kubernetes and UI/UX design, he pairs deep technical craft with product-minded systems thinking. Notably, he repeatedly turns research-grade AI (RAG, LLMs, speech synthesis) into usable tooling that non-technical teams can operate and iterate on.
