Senior🎓
Top SchoolRené Bon Ćirić is a Principal Systems Architect and FOSS consultant with over 16 years of hands-on experience designing high-resilience, security-first infrastructure for clients including CloudSigma and the Federal Government of Mexico. He specializes in Technological Sovereignty and defense-in-depth architectures, favoring transparent, auditable systems over "black box" solutions and treating infrastructure as software. René bridges deep Linux internals (RHEL, Fedora, Gentoo, Arch) with pragmatic automation in Crystal, Go, Python, and Ruby, and is an active Fedora package maintainer who understands the supply chain from source to binary. Notable work includes engineering a production-ready Highly Available OpenStack control plane on GCP by simulating L2 connectivity with custom routing and load balancers, delivered in three weeks. He consistently hardens environments with SELinux, nftables, and hardened configs, and has deployed OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, and large-scale MariaDB/Galera clusters in production. Based in Guadalajara, Mexico, he is available for consulting engagements that demand deep technical precision, open-source purity, and strategic foresight.
