Top SchoolReuben Fischer-baum is a senior data editor and visual journalist with 12 years of experience building reader-facing data products and visual storytelling at organizations including Yahoo News, The Washington Post, and FiveThirtyEight. He leads teams that turn complex datasets into clear, interactive narratives and now helps build the newly formed Data Services team at Yahoo News. In parallel he teaches data visualization and narrative design at Brown, RISD, and previously Parsons, blending academic rigor with newsroom deadlines. A 2022 Nieman Fellow with a background in environmental studies from Yale, he combines policy-minded research skills with practical design and coding fluency to make data accessible to broad audiences.
