Top SchoolReza Payami is a seasoned lead software engineer with 13 years of experience architecting large-scale, distributed and event-driven systems for enterprise products. Based in San Francisco, he has driven high-impact initiatives at Canva, Salesforce, and PayPal—ranging from AI integrations and API platform work to global real-time routing and company-wide GraphQL unification. He combines deep object-oriented design skills with hands-on systems engineering, having built globalization services, internationalization libraries, and infrastructure tooling adopted across organizations. Reza’s work spans backend APIs, gRPC and GraphQL services, and developer-facing libraries that bridge product teams and open-source standards like CLDR and ICU. Beyond shipping production systems, he has a track record of leading cross-team integration efforts and shrinking mobile app footprints through data-externalization and CDN strategies. His academic background in computer software engineering and an interdisciplinary master’s from Stanford in Music, Science and Technology hint at a blend of technical rigor and creative thinking.
