Senior🎓
Top SchoolRhea Fernandes is a Software Engineer II with 8 years of experience building secure, scalable backend systems and data pipelines, currently at Doctolib in Berlin. She combines strong backend expertise in Java and Scala (Play Framework) with hands-on experience in serverless architectures, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD to deliver production-grade microservices and REST APIs. Her work includes high-impact projects such as DIKSHA—an education platform adopted by the Government of India—and a brute-force–mitigating Login Limiter that reduced attack risk by 99%. Comfortable across the full stack, she also implements front-end features in React and has built GraphQL backends for consumer-facing apps. A lifelong experimenter who learned across domains from calculus to dance, she brings curiosity-driven breadth alongside a clear focus on end-to-end, data-driven system design.
