Top SchoolRhys Devine-davies is a Cloud Software Engineer Team Lead based in Bristol with 11 years of experience designing and shipping web and cloud solutions across startups, creative agencies, fintech, and enterprise at HPE. He blends hands-on front-end expertise (Typescript, Angular, RxJS) with team leadership—breaking complex features into parallel workstreams, mentoring engineers, and improving developer tooling and processes. Rhys has a strong full-stack background from building APIs and courier-assignment systems to reusable component libraries, and he frequently presents front-end topics to audiences of 150+ colleagues. Known for pragmatic migrations (e.g., introducing TypeScript at Cutover) and framework-agnostic component work, he pairs a user-focused mindset with operational discipline in CI/CD and testing.
