Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRicard Solé is a software engineer with 11 years of experience building developer-focused platforms and production systems across fast-growing startups and large tech companies. He has driven developer experience, language tooling, and Bazel initiatives at Datadog, led major front-end platform projects at Google that cut feature development time dramatically, and helped consolidate payments tooling and company-wide processes at Preply. Comfortable across the full stack, Ricard has repeatedly taken on cross-functional responsibilities—mentoring apprentices, designing infra improvements, and establishing RFC and D&I practices. Now based in Barcelona, he combines hands-on engineering with a penchant for developer productivity and scalable architectures. An early Google Apprentice and former lecturer, he brings a mix of teaching, mentorship and pragmatic engineering proven in both resource-constrained startups and high-scale environments. A detail not always visible on résumés: he has a track record of reducing maintenance costs by standardizing tooling and processes across organizations.
