Senior🎓
Top SchoolRicardo Costeira is a Senior Android Engineer with a decade of experience building and modernizing mobile apps, currently shaping the Waitrose & Partners Android experience at Mindera. He advocates for clean architecture, best practices and adoption of the latest Android frameworks while balancing feature delivery, maintenance and bug fixes. Beyond product work, he authors technical Android content for Kodeco, translating complex platform topics into practical guidance. His background includes designing data-centric security libraries at Symantec and leading accessibility-focused mobile projects where he introduced DI, reactive patterns and Architecture Components. Comfortable across Kotlin, Java, iOS Swift and React Native, he combines hands-on coding with a strong emphasis on long-term code health and readability. An MSc in Informatics Engineering and a history of shipping both libraries and apps give him a systems-minded approach few mobile engineers cultivate.
