Senior🎓
Top SchoolRicardo Ortega is a Senior DevOps Engineer with 12 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native platforms across AWS, GCP and OCI. He specializes in automating developer workflows—serverless and container-based—while enabling observability and internal platforms that reduce cognitive load for teams. Ricardo has led complex migrations (including Cloud Foundry to AWS) under hard deadlines, used dependency structure matrices to map service relationships, and applied Team Topologies practices to align team purpose and capacity. Equally comfortable with API development and infrastructure-as-code, he blends hands-on engineering with developer enablement and is currently expanding his expertise into Erlang/Elixir/OTP. Based in Mexico City, he brings a pragmatic, systems-oriented approach that favors removing repetitive toil so engineers can focus on business impact.
