👤
SeniorRicardo Sueiras is a Principal Developer Advocate at AWS with a long career delivering cloud, open source and developer-focused tooling across enterprise and public cloud environments. He blends deep hands-on technical experience—from early J2EE and WebSphere systems to pioneering cloud architectures and OpenStack/Cloud Foundry proofs of concept—with a knack for translating that knowledge into workshops, demos and developer productivity tooling. At AWS he focuses on generative AI coding assistants and open source advocacy, creating code and workshops that help teams experiment faster and ship with confidence. Previously he led open source governance, cloud strategy and innovation programs at PwC, shaping policies and architecting large-scale migrations and analytics platforms. Based in Whitstable, England, he also runs a parent-led education initiative, reflecting a commitment to practical, people-centered solutions beyond tech. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic technologist who turns complex enterprise constraints into actionable, developer-friendly outcomes.
