Richard Blouin is an AR/VR team leader and principal technologist with over 15 years’ experience designing immersive 3D solutions for training, simulation and enterprise use across aerospace, defense and commercial sectors. He began his career building visual databases for flight simulators at CAE and evolved into product and company leadership roles—co-founding startups and running development teams that deliver HoloLens, web, mobile and headset-based experiences. At Bombardier he now leads implementation of AR/VR initiatives that translate cutting-edge research into practical training and maintenance tools. Known as a hands-on problem solver, he combines a rare mix of engineering, design and business-development skills to move prototypes into scalable products.
