Senior🎓
Top SchoolRichard Holland is a senior software architect and founder with 20 years of experience designing cloud-native, data-driven platforms for life sciences and research organisations. He combines hands-on engineering (Python, Django, React, AWS) with leadership in regulated environments—building scalable ETL, data warehousing, and analytics systems for clinical diagnostics and biotech. Richard has repeatedly led successful startups and consultancies, achieving ISO27001 and driving AWS re-architectures and validated GxP procedures that bridge research and production. Comfortable joining distributed teams across timezones, he pairs pragmatic DevSecOps and CI/CD expertise with deep domain empathy for scientists’ workflows. An early adopter of cloud scaling patterns, he also brings atypical strengths in business development and operations from founding and selling services to major pharma and agriculture clients.
