Summary
👤
SeniorRichard Lee is a Cloud Architect and technical leader with 11 years of hands-on experience building secure, highly available AWS platforms and backend systems using Node.js, .NET, and Python. He designs and automates infrastructure with Terraform, CI/CD, and container orchestration (ECS Fargate), applying AWS Well-Architected principles to fintech and large-scale consumer platforms. Richard has led cross-functional teams and large delivery efforts—from a Fintech cash advance platform serving millions of transactions to an EdTech product impacting 20 million students—balancing product goals, cost, and operational excellence. His certifications across multiple AWS domains and an AI Practitioner credential signal a practical blend of cloud architecture and emerging ML considerations. Not obvious from titles: he pairs deep SRE/DevOps practice with domain-driven backend design and has repeatedly driven reductions in operational risk via automated pipelines and event-driven patterns.
