Top SchoolRichard Millet is a seasoned DevOps and software engineering leader with 17 years of experience building and managing enterprise-class systems, currently serving as Senior DevOps Manager at UC Berkeley. He has led the open-source CollectionSpace project for over a decade, combining hands-on development, community-driven governance, and service-provider coordination to deliver collections management solutions for arts, humanities, and science institutions. Comfortable at the intersection of architecture, operations, and stakeholder engagement, he has a long track record of turning complex institutional requirements into sustainable, open-source software. Based in Walnut Creek, CA, he brings institutional-scale experience from roles at Berkeley, LYRASIS, Intuit and Apple, and a practical engineering foundation from a BS in Computer Science at Cal Poly.
