Top SchoolRichard Shaw is a product leader with 11 years of experience building 0-to-1 back-office products—lending, logistics, compliance, and financial management—that help small businesses scale. At Shopify and Amazon he launched and scaled lending and delivery guarantee programs globally, grew a lending business to >$1B in annual originations, and integrated ML models into high-ROI operational tools. He combines a founder’s scrappy product sensibility (two startups and a published product research handbook) with enterprise experience owning P&Ls and leading cross-functional teams. Known for translating complex AI capabilities into simple interfaces for nontechnical business owners, he focuses on pragmatic automation that reduces friction across commerce ecosystems. Based in the Greater Seattle Area, he blends behavioral-science training in psychology with data-driven product strategy to design products that meet real merchant needs.
