Summary
🤩
RockstarRichard Steinbrück is a DevOps engineer with 11 years of experience building and automating infrastructure for large enterprises, currently driving platform reliability at Lime Connect (formerly Userlike) from Gotha, Germany. He has deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Istio, GitOps (Flux), Terraform, Ansible/Puppet, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), having applied these to scale production systems and accelerate delivery at MediaMarktSaturn. Earlier roles as an IT administrator and quality lead gave him strong operational instincts—managing thousands of Windows servers, automating repetitive tasks with PowerShell, and coaching teams through DevOps adoption. He blends practitioner-level tooling knowledge with training and process design, regularly running workshops to lift team capabilities. Outside of work he brings an artistic eye as a street photographer and photo assistant, a detail-oriented hobby that surfaces in his methodical approach to observability and incident analysis.
