Top SchoolRichard Tasker is a development team lead and seasoned .NET web developer based in Leeds with over a decade of hands-on experience designing APIs, distributed systems and cloud-native services. He blends practical architecture and principal-developer work with people leadership—running teams, Scrum processes and a consultancy business while delivering integrations, event-sourced systems and Kubernetes deployments. His career spans fintech, travel and enterprise domains where he’s built gateway/proxy services, data collectors, and CI/CD pipelines that run on GKE and Azure. Notably he has driven migrations from proprietary messaging to RabbitMQ/MassTransit, introduced structured logging and health metrics at scale, and led eventstorming and DDD practices on greenfield projects. Pragmatic and entrepreneurial, he pairs an engineer’s attention to operational detail with experience launching and consulting through his own company.
