Top SchoolRichard Tatum is a Senior Backend Engineer based in London with seven years of software development experience and a track record of progressing from junior roles to senior engineering and co-founder responsibilities. He combines deep .NET and cloud-stack experience with hands-on project leadership, mentoring, and client-facing delivery across startups and product teams. Richard’s background in operations and client services—supporting high-profile aviation clients—gives him a pragmatic focus on safety, reliability, and clear communication when building systems. Currently splitting time between a senior engineering role at Omeda Studios and co-founding Forante Ltd, he brings both product ownership and execution discipline to new initiatives. Known for being “always prepared for a challenge,” he pairs practical engineering with a designer’s sensibility from his earlier graphic design work, helping translate user needs into maintainable backend solutions.
