Senior🎓
Top SchoolRichard Tomlinson is a seasoned Senior Developer based in Nottingham with over 25 years of commercial software experience and a long-standing focus on Microsoft .NET since 2005. He has delivered across the full software development lifecycle—from embedded C and COBOL roots to enterprise C#, SharePoint workflows, Dynamics CRM integrations, and bespoke WinForms and web solutions. At Healthcare at Home he progressed from contractor to permanent senior developer and briefly led the development team as interim manager, demonstrating both hands-on delivery and people-facing leadership. Microsoft-certified for enterprise C# and SharePoint development and holder of a Postgraduate Certificate in Computing, he pairs formal credentials with practical problem-solving. Comfortable translating business needs into robust technical designs, he has a knack for refactoring poorly documented systems into maintainable architectures. Away from .NET, his background in embedded systems and licensed radio amateur hobby hints at a hardware-aware, system-level perspective that informs his software craftsmanship.
