Senior🎓
Top SchoolRichie Frost is a software engineer with 10 years of experience focused on model serving platforms, distributed computing, and AI/ML engineering, currently building production ML model serving at Dropbox. He blends research-grade expertise—authoring scalable distributed topic modeling and DSaaS work during his Master's and publishing at ICDE and KDD—with hands-on product and infrastructure experience from Microsoft and earlier startups. At Microsoft he worked across ML, analytics, and applied science rotations, and his internship work delivered a 97% F1 information-retrieval component for Dynamics 365. Richie’s background includes building revenue-driving APIs and large-scale logistics systems, demonstrating an ability to move systems from prototype to production. Based in Carlsbad, CA, he pairs academic rigor with pragmatic engineering to reduce resource use and operational load in large distributed systems. A detail that sets him apart is his track record of cutting network and memory costs dramatically in research projects while later translating those optimizations into production-grade model-serving infrastructure.
