Top SchoolRichie Youm is a Senior Software Engineer focused on AI platform work with seven years of experience building production ML systems and deploying LLM-powered products. He led Wealthsimple’s LLM initiatives—creating secure LLM gateways, an internal RAG system, and automations that cut manual work and earned board-level prioritization and media coverage. His background spans end-to-end ML engineering from transcription and speaker diarization pipelines to model finetuning and inference at scale using Airflow, FastAPI, ONNX and Triton, plus practical solutions like a $3M-impact LSTM for account transfers. Now at KOHO, he continues to operationalize generative AI with an emphasis on security and vendor assessment, drawing on prior roles where he integrated labeling, human-in-the-loop workflows and production monitoring. He pairs an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech with hands-on teaching and consulting experience, and is known for translating research-grade models into secure, business-ready features.
