Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolRick D is a founder and founding engineer with 11 years of experience turning rough concepts into production-grade products, from petabyte-scale cloud platforms and an SVOD service for major studios to a patent-pending 360° camera + radar system with a 3D Unity display. He blends hands-on engineering (Embedded C, Node.js, React, Azure) with product leadership—architecting APIs stress-tested to 1M RPS, leading multi-team development at SEER Media Platform, and shipping embedded HMI and sensor visualization tooling. Rick is currently building KarvedUp, an AI-driven preventive telehealth and fitness app that integrates workouts, nutrition, and bloodwork analytics. He thrives in startup grind: digging into customer needs, shipping code line-by-line, and scaling systems to hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. Based in Los Angeles, he balances technical depth with practical product instincts—and, not obviously, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and avid League of Legends ADC player.
