Top SchoolRick Kim is an ML software engineer and AI agent builder at Google DeepMind with nine years of experience designing product-focused infrastructure and advanced tooling for large-scale AI experiences. Previously he worked on Google Messages’ core messaging infrastructure and co-founded a social platform serving 5,000+ members, where he led product development and a 10-person engineering team through pre-seed funded growth. He also co-manages a real estate investment portfolio and brings operational discipline from service as a Munitions Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. Comfortable at the intersection of research, product, and systems engineering, Rick ships practical ML-enabled features that prioritize magical user moments and reliability. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he pairs a computational engineering and IT management background from UT Austin with an entrepreneur’s focus on impact—his GitHub motto, “For Global Peace~!” hints at a broader mission-driven mindset.
