Summary
🤩
RockstarRick Moby is a serial founder and product-focused CEO with over a decade of experience building digital brands and licensing businesses from Las Vegas. He launched JoyPixels (originally EmojiOne) in 2014, growing it from the world’s first open-source emoji font into an enterprise emoji provider serving customers like TikTok, Telegram, Adobe, and Zoom. Prior ventures include Ranks.com, a large curated directory and review service, and Short Domains, a niche domain brokerage, showing a long history of spotting internet product gaps and monetizing them. He also co-founded Mojoverse to explore web3 identity protocols for creators, reflecting an ongoing interest in emerging identity and creator-economy technology. Rick blends hands-on product leadership with licensing and IP strategy, and his work has quietly shaped how major platforms incorporate emoji assets at scale.
