Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolRicky Willcox is a Senior Software Engineer based in Australia with five years of hands-on experience building mobile and web applications, primarily using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. He has shipped production features across startups and freelance projects and currently drives engineering at Montu while maintaining Real Estate Mate, a free Chrome extension that reveals hidden property data. Comfortable across full-stack concerns—MongoDB, GraphQL, Docker and multiple OSes—he pairs pragmatic delivery with a penchant for digging into the technical nitty-gritty. His background in the Australian Defence Force developed leadership, discipline, and systems-thinking that he applies to sprint planning, QA, and client-facing coordination. Always learning (currently studying computer science at Griffith), he seeks challenging problems where polished UX and reliable engineering meet.
