Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolRiley Berton is a Staff Software Engineer in New York with 11 years focused on large-scale, platform and distributed systems. He has led observability and SRE efforts at MLB, built a high-performance time-series product and engineering org at Circonus, and drove centralized rendering and memory/crash reductions for Meta’s Orion AR stack before joining Netflix. Riley blends hands-on systems engineering with leadership—shipping core ingestion and rendering paths, instituting engineering process improvements, and forming consultative SRE practices. He’s equally comfortable debugging critical memory bugs and designing secure, attested device-to-cloud tunnels, a mix that surfaces both deep systems expertise and product-minded pragmatism. An unusual thread through his career is pairing theatrical training with computer science, reflecting a communicator’s instinct applied to complex technical operations.
