Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolRiley Napier is a senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience building full‑stack, customer-facing systems from prototype to scale in the San Francisco Bay Area. As Courier’s first engineering hire, he turned a CEO prototype into a production platform, shipping CI/CD, an embeddable Inbox/Toast experience, a multi-channel template designer, and a Preview/Test Send workflow while helping grow the company to Series B. He brings a strong serverless and JS background from roles at Symphony and Growlabs, having built Lambda/Dynamo pipelines, React component libraries, JAMstack e-commerce sites, and integrations with shipping and CMS APIs. Riley combines hands-on implementation experience with product-oriented collaboration with design and customers, favoring pragmatic solutions that enable live users. Now at Augment, he continues to apply that mix of startup grit and systems craftsmanship to new challenges. An early career background in government-facing systems and low-level debugging gives him comfort across stacks and environments few front-end specialists have.
