Top SchoolRitesh Misra is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building embedded and robotics systems, currently applying his skills at Lockheed Martin in the Washington DC–Baltimore area. He has a strong foundation in C++/embedded development and Linux/ROS from roles at Boeing and as a graduate researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where he designed and published improved microcontroller-based corrosion sensors and built a sensor-carrying robot for his thesis. Ritesh combines hands-on hardware design and machining with software—having implemented interrupt-driven firmware, PCB designs, optical-flow velocity estimators, and depth-based obstacle detection—bringing cross-disciplinary solutions from prototype to publication. He thrives on continuous improvement, prefers tackling projects that grow both the product and his capabilities, and has a track record of turning research prototypes into stricter, publishable iterations.
