SeniorRob Boerman is a senior software developer and solutions architect with 12 years of experience building cloud-native, serverless and full-stack platforms for media, e-commerce and industrial customers from the Netherlands. He designs and delivers scalable backends and unified APIs—often on AWS—while leading R&D efforts in IoT/MQTT, ADAS computer-vision prototypes and GraphQL-based MACH architectures. Comfortable across frontend and backend stacks, Rob has driven technical strategy and nearshore delivery for brands like Talpa and NPO and built platforms that serve millions of users. He pairs pragmatic engineering with hands-on prototyping, turning proofs of concept into production-ready services and product backlogs. An early community builder, he also founded Edgehero, demonstrating a long-standing interest in developer ecosystems and creative tooling.
