Summary
👤
SeniorRob Campbell is a Lead Software Engineer with 15 years of experience building developer-facing and event-management systems, currently driving backend and full-stack work at Cvent. Previously he spent eight years at Mozilla, where he grew Firefox Developer Tools from a two-person project to a team of 20+, serving as module owner and engineering manager for next-generation web dev tooling and earlier contributing to Firebug. He blends deep language fluency across JavaScript, C/C++, Python, Smalltalk and modern stacks like .NET, Node and React, with strengths in OOA/D, developer tools, and human-centered interfaces. Comfortable both leading hiring and community engagement and shipping product-facing features, he’s equally at home designing APIs, improving dev workflows, or prototyping IoT and mobile integrations. Based in Moncton, NB, he brings a rare mix of product design sensibility and low-level systems experience to large-scale web and event platforms.
