Summary
👤
SeniorRob Eden is a security-focused senior principal software engineer and Cloud R&D lead based in New York with over a decade of hands-on experience building and securing cloud-native systems. He leads cloud research and engineering at Everfox while running a long-standing consulting practice, LogicArtisan, which highlights his mix of strategic leadership and solo-practitioner grit. His career includes senior security and architecture roles at Granular, Forcepoint (formerly Raytheon|Websense), and multiple product companies, giving him deep expertise in secure product design and threat-aware architecture. Rob pairs low-level engineering chops with practical network administration skills, shaping secure, operable systems end-to-end. Colleagues value his ability to translate complex security requirements into auditable, production-ready solutions and to mentor teams through architecture and risk trade-offs. Off the radar, his GitHub handle harkens to family roots (hedin) and a wry sense of humor (FAOK), suggesting a thoughtful engineer who doesn’t take himself too seriously.
