Senior🎓
Top SchoolRob Van Den Bogaard-braaf is a pragmatic software developer and linked open data specialist with 15 years of experience, blending functional programming craftsmanship in Elm, Haskell and Erlang with RDF/knowledge-graph expertise. Based in Amsterdam, he architects predictable systems by formalizing side effects and favoring strong static types to reduce mental load, a shift from his earlier Ruby work at WeTransfer. He coaches and evangelizes Elm in education, using creative workshops to teach functional concepts through graphics and games, and volunteers to bring Raspberry Pi–based computing to schools in The Gambia. Curious about robotics, Brazilian music, deep learning and semantic web technologies, he looks for technology that genuinely improves lives rather than merely offering convenience.
