Senior🎓
Top SchoolRob Wilkerson is a seasoned full-stack engineering leader with over 25 years in software development and more than 16 years in senior engineering roles, currently serving as Sr. Director of Software Engineering at ICF Next. He has a long track record modernizing large government technology programs—leading multi-team efforts on Medicare.gov, the Quality Payment Program, and Healthcare.gov—and blends hands-on development with organizational leadership. Comfortable across infrastructure, deployment automation, and web application architecture, he has run his own consultancy and managed hosting and deployment for enterprise clients. Rob’s background in both computer science and architecture informs a pragmatic, systems-oriented approach to solving complex problems and scaling teams. Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he pairs public-sector impact with private-sector product experience and a penchant for building reliable, auditable systems. An uncommon detail: he has repeatedly moved between founder-level ownership and large program leadership, giving him both breadth of technical craft and depth of operational accountability.
