Senior🎓
Top SchoolRobbert Van Markus is a fullstack software engineer with 11 years of experience building user-centric web applications at the intersection of design and technology. He has a strong TypeScript/React and Node.js background and has driven quality-focused delivery practices—introducing test automation, CI/CD, containerized deployments, and Kubernetes in small teams. Robbert has shifted between hands-on engineering and consultancy roles, helping teams improve feedback loops, developer experience, and delivery cadence at companies like Xebia, DCspine and StackState. He excels at visualizing complex streaming data and architecting maintainable monorepos and microservices, often in resource-constrained teams where he also handled operations tooling such as Helm, Ansible and NetBox. Based in the Randstad, he combines entrepreneurial roots with formal training in electrical/media technology, making him comfortable across product, UX and infrastructure boundaries. An understatement: he consistently avoids shipping features without automated tests, treating quality as a product differentiator rather than a checkbox.
