Top SchoolRobbie Fishel is a software development engineer at Amazon Web Services in Boston with a focused background in cloud migration tooling and API development. A University of Pittsburgh BS/MS graduate, he completed two AWS internships where he expanded a Java-based API using API Gateway and DynamoDB and built a Fargate/Docker-based tool to generate OVA files for migration data collection. Comfortable across backend services, containers, and cloud storage, he pairs hands-on engineering with leadership experience from roles as president and VP of Pitt CSC. Passionate about building software that scales to help many users, he also tutors and mentors peers in core CS topics — a sign of both technical depth and a collaborative mindset. Outside of work he’s an avid sports fan and musician, often channeling that team-driven energy into personal projects and research collaborations.
