Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolRobbie Palmer is an engineering manager and former ML lead with eight years of experience building production ML systems and full‑stack applications from Belfast. He combines hands-on machine learning—RAG chatbots, semantic and image similarity search, invoice extraction and product detection—with product-minded engineering, shipping APIs, CI/CD and IaC for seed-stage startups and enterprise teams. At Terminal Industries he’s progressed from senior engineer to principal and now leads engineering, applying a pragmatic “build vs buy” approach learned while running ML strategy at Bestomer. His background in digital pathology and computational imaging at Philips and Sonraí gives him a strong foundation in deploying high‑accuracy, regulated ML models. Colleagues know him for balancing technical depth with UX-focused product decisions and for wearing multiple hats to move small teams to market quickly.
