Top SchoolRobert Ferree is a seasoned Design Specialist with over a decade of focused experience designing and retrofitting piping systems for heavy oil, gas, and utility facilities across Kern County and Southern California. He has led QA/QC for AVEVA E3D/PDMS models and supervised design teams to standardize modeling practices for SoCal Gas, bringing rigor to contractor deliverables. His background spans field data collection, GPS surveying, laser-scan-to-3D modeling, and as-built documentation, combined with deep hands-on CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, E3D/PDMS, Navisworks). Known for optimizing field layouts—routing laterals, reorienting pumping units, and relocating equipment—he blends practical site experience with disciplined modeling standards. Colleagues rely on him for complex retrofit projects and clear constructible models that reduce rework and improve handoff to operations. Despite a technical focus, he pairs that with a track record of supervising QA/QC teams and translating field realities into auditable digital models.
