Top SchoolRobert Johansen is a seasoned software leader with 11 years of experience building platform and developer-experience tooling, currently serving as VP of Software at WHOOP in Boston. He has repeatedly scaled platform organizations and infrastructure to enable product teams to move quickly and autonomously, progressing from Senior Full Stack Engineer to VP through hands-on technical leadership. Robert specializes in platform engineering, developer productivity, and creating tooling that creates leverage across companies—never treating infrastructure as an afterthought. He combines startup sensibilities (co-founding Zeal) with enterprise-grade execution, favoring pragmatic, product-minded decisions that accelerate shipping.
