Top SchoolRobert Kirchner is a Senior Software Engineer based in Chicago with six years of hands-on experience building full-stack APIs and functional-programming-driven systems, now at World Wide Technology. A self-taught, neurodivergent engineer with a mathematics background, he combines strong problem-solving and automation instincts to tackle complex data and AI problems. He’s prolific in open-source practice—maintaining over 120 GitHub repositories—which demonstrates a relentless drive to prototype tools and explore new techniques in his spare time. Colleagues know him for asking precise, often-unasked questions that sharpen requirements and reveal hidden edge cases. His vivid imagination gives him an uncommon ability to mentally simulate technical designs and foresee failure modes before they occur. Always learning, he focuses on practical ways to leverage AI, functional paradigms, and automation to deliver measurable impact.
