Top SchoolRobert Kovac is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer based in Lendava, Slovenia, with a long-standing career focused on Delphi and web technologies including Python, Django, REST APIs, and SQL databases. He brings practical full-stack experience—spanning Bootstrap/HTML/JavaScript front-ends to Firebird and MySQL back-ends—built over roles at CADIS and Abak.net since the mid-1990s. Comfortable with XML/JSON integrations and mapping APIs, he has a knack for maintaining and modernizing legacy systems while incrementally introducing web-era tooling. His background in low-level 8-bit assembler languages reveals a deep, hardware-aware understanding of computing that informs pragmatic, efficient software design. A University of Maribor graduate in software engineering, he combines academic grounding with decades of hands-on engineering at regional technology firms. Colleagues rely on him for steady delivery and for bridging older codebases to current web standards.
