Top SchoolRobert Mcginley is a Principal Engineer and technology leader with 16 years of experience building data platforms, machine learning systems, and high-performing teams across startups and enterprises. Currently at SentinelOne he architects data mesh migrations and enterprise-scale GenAI/LLM integrations, creating semantic layers and production-grade AI applications that operationalize proprietary business data. Previously he led consumer data and predictive analytics at Nike—helping unlock ~$100M in member revenue and driving large-scale cloud and ML platform modernizations. He co-founded and scaled engineering at early-stage ventures (Zodiac, Monetate, DramaFever) through multiple successful acquisitions, pairing product-focused engineering with compliance and reliability at scale. A Philly native, La Salle alumnus and adjunct professor, he blends academic mentorship with hands-on execution across analytics, IoT/home automation interests, and combinatorial optimization expertise. Notably, he bridges deep optimization experience (CPLEX/Gecode work) with modern GenAI practices like RAG and fine-tuning to turn research-grade models into business impact.
