Top SchoolRobert Meerman is a Principal Engineer with 16 years at Arm building and productising distributed test and board-farm infrastructure that makes FPGA and silicon labs feel like cloud VMs. He blends hands-on systems engineering and code stewardship with technical leadership—shaping roadmaps, mentoring teams, and streamlining build-and-test pipelines across sites in the UK, Sweden, Norway and China. Robert’s work sits at the intersection of security and developer ergonomics, solving the tricky problem of locking down hardware while allowing unsafe developer builds for debugging. A pragmatic automation enthusiast, he prefers building tools that save future time (and enjoys clever home network traffic shaping on a Raspberry Pi). He’s equally comfortable writing low-level C, orchestration scripts and Python, and has repeatedly turned prototype systems into stable, scalable services.
