Top SchoolRobert Melrose is a founder and lead full-stack engineer based in Miami with 12+ years building production web platforms, backend systems, and AI tooling. He combines hands-on development in Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, AWS and Docker with practical ML experience—training and benchmarking LLMs and building RAG systems tailored for music producers using vector DBs and embeddings. As founder of Devs.Miami he owned product planning, CI/CD, observability and analytics for wingit.dev, and at Scale AI and Sepal AI he helped fine-tune model workflows and mentored junior engineers. His background spans low-level C++ systems, .NET enterprise portals for airlines, and early tinkering with TI-BASIC and PC Logo, reflecting a lifelong curiosity about making computation useful. He’s especially effective at rapidly forming cross-functional teams to ship novel solutions, evidenced by a hackathon-built robotic arm trained to play music. Open to Miami opportunities, he brings entrepreneurial drive, technical breadth, and a user-centered approach to AI and product development.
