Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolRobert Moucha is a Sr. Principal Software Engineer based in Prague with over two decades of hands-on experience modernizing infrastructure from Solaris/SAN-era architectures to cloud-native, containerized platforms. He combines deep systems administration expertise—VMware, DB2/Oracle, Fibre Channel SANs—with practical automation and Kubernetes-focused operations at GoodData, where he also maintained internal Python web apps. Known for preferring simplicity and ownership, he reads and integrates code across languages (bash, Python, Java, Go, Erlang) even if he self-describes as a modest programmer. His career includes team leadership and large-scale deployments at Vodafone and LMC, giving him rare visibility across hardware, databases, middleware, and CI pipelines (favoring GitLab). Colleagues value him for reliably keeping complex production systems smooth while driving pragmatic migration to modern tooling.
